"Welcome to the dark heart of Morgon. Enormous structure, but the tannins are very fine and there's easily enough concentration to balance them in a very sensual manner. Stacks of black cherry and forest berry fruit, also some dry forest-floor character. All the power expected from this appellation is in the compact and beautifully crafted finish. Drink or hold."

Driven by its structural elements, the wine boasts tightly woven, powdery tannins that impart a resonating sense of tension that invigorates the palate with palpable energy. Notes of tangy berries, cherries and dried herbs form a thin veil around the core of the wine, playing a supporting role. Medium to full-bodied, the wine holds a serious demeanor requiring patience to resolve."
